This Saturday, May 10, 2014, Join The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County in fourth race of the Trail Creek Outfitters Trail Race series. Runners will run trails on protected lands throughout southern Chester County and northern Delaware. Next Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27 the Trail Creek Outfitters brings the country’s largest environmental film festival to our area with proceeds benefiting The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County and Stroud Water Research Center. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a celebration of grassroots solutions to environmental challenges. It has an enthusiastic following and has sold out every year. The Wild and Scenic Film Festival will be taking place on February 27th & 28th at the Chester County Historical Society. The two day event will consist of nationally acclaimed short, independent films and documentaries on outdoor adventures, nature and environmental issues. The screenings include a bite to eat and drink, and an opportunity to gather with friends and family for an evening of education and inspiration. Different films will be shown each night.
