Holiday Pop-up Art Show at Galer Estate

On Thursday, December 12th, The Galer Estate is hosting a pop-up show featuring 12 local artists, showing and sellling their work, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.! Give the gift of art, and enjoy shopping and sipping wine, while supporting a great cause, the Chester County Art Association’s New Building Fund! Artists include Carol Apicella (mosaics), Arden Bardol (jewelry), Meghan Bergman (ceramics) and Sara Bleemer (photography).

Chester County Studio Tour

Taking place this weekend on both Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th join the free self-guided arts trail that connects and highlights extraordinary local artists across the area. Chester County studio tour invites friends, families, art enthusiasts and the curious to experience and meet a variety of astonishing artists as they exhibit their work during this two-day event.

This unique and intimate, two-day event creates an occasion to clearly understand the creative process of the artists and to experience their artwork on-site. Bartender’s Ball Coming January 27th

2012 Chester County Cupcake Clash!

The First Annual Chester County Cupcake Clash is coming to Radley Run Country Club on Thursday, September 20. Bring your your family and friends, along with your sweet tooth, to this new showdown to determine the ultimate Chester County cupcake creator. Event organizers Living in Chester County declared that this contest be judged in a true, unbiased fashion. A blind taste test will be conducted by people just like you during the event.

The Cupcake Clash will begin at 6:30 p.m., with tastings running from 7 to 8:30. The winner will be announced at 9! The contest is not limiting entries to registered cupcake companies alone, although they will be there to throw down as well. Proceeds will benefit the Bringing Hope Home (formerly known as Great Guys Group), an organization dedicated to supporting families battling cancer in our community through emotional and financial assistance by paying bills during their tough times. This Weekend! CHESTER COUNTY RESTAURANT FESTIVAL | Sept 18, Noon to 5:30

The West Chester Parks & Recreation presents the largest downtown street fair of the year — Chester County Restaurant Festival. It promises a taste of every kind from the best restaurants in the Brandywine Valley. The festival is from noon ’til 5:30 on Gay Street between Matlack & Darlington. Seven bands will play throughout the day and the Beer & Wine Garden is open at Gay & Church Sts. The Chester County Culinary Cook-off begins at 2:30 on the steps of the historic Courthouse where chefs compete for the title of Best Chef in Chester County.
