Alfredo’s Italian Pizza Kitchen has been opened for a few months now and I have had the opportunity to dine there a few times. I have to say, it offers some great authentic italian foods and doesn’t break the bank! Its located right outside of town off of route 202 and 926, it’s very conveient if you want to escape the downtown West Chester rush every once in awhile. This new restaurant has an impressive heritage, Barb and husband, Alfredo, also own the upscale Alfredo Italian BYO in Berwyn. Alfredo’s Italian Pizza Kitchen is a BYOB, offers plenty of free parking and is open seven days from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Below is a video I produced of both Alfredo’s Italian Pizza Kitchen as well as there other establishment Alfredo Italian BYO located in Berwyn. I would recommend checking out both restaurants they are fantastic!
I was recently browsing around Westchesterdish.com when I noticed they had a restaurant tab. As I clicked on the tab it brought up an entire list of restaurants around the West Chester area. It is very helpful because it not only lists the names and locations but it also has a review section were people can leave comments about there experiences. I thought I would share the link and also the small exert from there website, you can view the West Chester Restaurant section by clicking here or by visit http://www.westchesterdish.com
“Since Iron Hill Brewery first opened up in the heart of West Chester, the town has experienced a dining renaissance. The most popular dining neighborhood is on Gay Street, which is lined with restaurants and pubs offering everything from formal French gastronomic fare to cheese steaks and pitas. Nightlife is alive and well in the county seat, and many bars and restaurants provide outdoor seating in the summer. In the borough and the surrounding communities, diners can find a variety of bars and Irish pubs, American neighborhood bars, pizza parlors, hoagie shops, Mexican, Chinese and Thai, diners, hot dog stands, steakhouses, burger joints, tea rooms and coffee shops.” – WCDish.com

The owners of Alfredo Italian BYO in Berwyn and the Newtown Grill in Newtown Square have one more restaurant to add to their list: Alfredo’s Italian Pizza Kitchen in West Chester. The pizzeria opened its doors a little more than a week ago and is located at the Commons at Thornbury Shopping Center. The restaurant is a BYOB and serves up Italian comfort food like pasta, sandwiches and, of course, pizzas. Everything on the menu is priced less than $15, so diners can try a number of dishes on the menu without spending a fortune. And from the sounds of it, you’ll want to try one of everything. 34-38 E. Street Road, (484) 315-8685.
Nudy’s Cafe is planning to open a new location on Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. A spokeswoman for the Paoli Village Shoppes tells Patch the popular Devon-based restaurant chain has signed a lease to move into the building that most-recently housed Jake’s Frozen Custard. A Nudy’s spokeswoman told Patch on Thursday that while the chain is planning to expand to the location no lease had been signed yet and there is no timeline in place. Nudy’s currently has seven restaurant locations in Devon, Frazer, Phoenixville, Exton, Downingtown, Eagleview and right here in downtown West Chester.
Nudy’s Café of West Chester is located at the southwest corner of West Market and South New streets, occupying the space that was once Gee’s Pizza and Beer Carry-Out. Nudy’s in West Chester offers 65 seats in 2,400 square feet, including outdoor seating on a new patio. Nudy’s characterizes their menu as the “feel-good dishes you’re used to, but with a twist.” His restaurants serve Melba French toast, for instance, sauced with fresh cherries and stuffed with cream cheese, pumpkin pancakes and a range of salads and sandwiches at lunchtime.
