The Chester County Historical Society presents Cut It Out! 200 Years of Paper Dolls, a special exhibit that captures the popularity of paper dolls as childhood entertainment. Although the peak of popularity was in the mid-1900s, paper dolls have been handmade since the 1700s and mass produced as early as 1812. A wide selection from the vast CCHS collection, numbering over 8,000 paper dolls, will reveal the range of unique and printed pieces that are a feast for the eyes for any fashion enthusiast, celebrity watcher, or child at heart. Through January 19, 2013.
