Looking to get out and enjoy a night on the town? Below are two events happening tomorrow in Downtown West Chester!

Casino Night | Friday, March 22 | 7:00pm 

Casino Night promises an evening of good fun for a great cause! Try your luck at the black jack, craps, and Roulette tables. Enjoy hors d’Oeuvres, drinks, door prizes, and more at Milestone Events. All Proceeds Benefit the “Send a Kid to Camp Fund”! Reservations are a must! Pre-register with West Chester Parks & Recreation Department at 610-436-9010.

Broadway’s Next Hit Musical at WCU | Friday, March 22 | 7:30pm 

WCU Live! presents Broadway’s Next Hit Musical, an improvised musical comedy, that will bring an evening of music, humor, and laughter — complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and surprising plot twists galore. Performance begins at 7:30pm at Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall at West Chester University. Adults $20; Seniors/Students $15. Details at WCU Department of Cultural & Community Affairs.

It’s Monday and no one likes Mondays! In order to help brighten your day below are two events to look forward too this Friday in Downtown West Chester!

Broadway’s Next Hit Musical | March 22, 2013 | 7:30pm

Every song is fresh. Every scene is new. Every night is different. It’s all improvised musical comedy — and it’s all funny! The New York Times calls Broadway’s Next Hit Musical “Hilarious.” But don’t take their word for it. Come see theater’s best improvisers use song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The next great American musical will be written in West Chester at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall. Ticket information at the Department of Cultural & Community Affairs.

What’s Happening This Weekend in West Chester?

Some awesome events happening around West Chester this weekend, check them out!

First Friday & Holiday Shopping | December 7-9

The first full weekend of December offers three days of Christmas Shopping Crawls. Shoppers can stroll the sidewalks and explore the quaint boutiques with the best selections available. Friday night is First Friday and the stores are open late offering specials with hospitality, all adding to the Christmas Spirit. Christmas Carolers will also be adding to the season.

Holiday Home Tour | December 8

Visit ten beautifully decorated homes in the north section of West Chester. The tour features private residences spanning 130 years of home building history. Starts at 10:00am. Proceeds benefit the West Chester Public Library. Ticket information can be found at the West Chester Public Library located at 415 North Church Street.

Holiday Musical at WCU | December 8-9

WCU Live! presents A Christmas Wonderland performed by the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company. The enchanting cast of professional singers and dancers will present a high-energy family-oriented, song and dance tribute to the holidays. Performances are 2:00pm and 7:30pm on Saturday and 2:00pm Sunday at Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre at West Chester University. Adults $20; Seniors/Students $15. Details at WCU Department of Cultural & Community Affairs.
