THE LUKENS BAND at MARSHALL SQUARE PARK | Thursday, August 15, 2013

The Friends of West Chester Parks & Recreation continue the Marshall Square Park Summer Concert Series starting at 6:30pm. Free for the entire family. Featured are sounds of The Lukens Band. Bring blankets or chairs and enjoy a community picnic. For more information click here.

COMMUNITY DAY at the MELTON CENTER | Sunday, August 18, 2013

The Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center (501 East Miner St) presents Community Day from 10am to 8pm. Family activities include a scavenger hunt, live music, food, championship basketball, and a dessert competition. Click here for more information.

Turks Head Music Festival | July 15th

The Turks Head Music Festival is a daylong celebration of local music held at Everhart Park starting at 11am on Sunday, July 15. A dozen bands will share two stages performing all types of music. Up to 90 artists set up booths throughout the park to sell their high quality arts and crafts. Local food vendors will keep everyone well-fed. Presented by the Borough of West Chester’s Parks and Recreation Dept. Rain date: July 22. FREE for the whole family. Don’t miss this awesome event we hope to see you there!
