Halloween Parade in Kennett Square

Halloween-Parade-PosterIf you missed the West Chester Halloween parade last night don’t worry as there is another parade happening this weekend in our neighboring town of Kennett Square! Downtown Kennett Square is looking to be transformed with the festive sights and activities of the fall season. Kennett Square’s Halloween Parade will be on Sunday, October 26 at 3 pm. Organizations and individuals are welcome to participate! Fireworks & Fountain Show this Weekend at Longwood

FirewksFtnsLgVisit Longwood Gardens this Saturday, August 30 at 8:15pm for a special Fireworks & Fountain Show! The entire family will enjoy Longwood Gardens’ breathtaking event, the lavish fireworks, stirring music and colorful illuminated fountains make for an unforgettable night.

Guests can arrive to reserve a space in the gardens viewing area after 3pm and are encouraged to bring a lightweight folding chair. Murder Mystery Art Stroll in Kennett Square

Murder-Mystery-Art-Stroll-2014Next Friday, August 1st, 2014, visit Downtown Kennett Square for a Murder Mystery Art Stroll. Participation is free and all ages are welcome to the Murder Mystery Art Stroll. Pick up a map with the shop locations where the cast will be waiting. There will also be general suspect information and a worksheet to help solve the crime. Winners get prizes at the end of the evening! Come out from 6pm to 9pm. One Year Anniversary of The Market at Liberty Place

The Market at Liberty Place, located in Kennett Square, will be celebrating it’s first birthday in grand style, the weekend of July 11, 12, & 13. Festivities kick off on Friday July 11th, with 2 live musical acts. The Market will have a Frank Sinatra-style performer from 5:00-7:30 followed by Kennett Square’s own “Born Sisters” from 7:30-9:00. Kristen & Kara Zach are country/pop duo who write and perform their own songs. Memorial Day Parade in Kennett Square

Join Kennett Square’s traditional Memorial Day Parade on Monday at 10:00am! Included in the parade are antique military vehicles and convertibles, bag pipers, fife and drums, Civil War and Revolutionary War Re-enactors, color guard groups, high school bands, little league teams, Mummers and more.
