Sara Michaels at the Jazz Cocktail Hour

Uptown! Entertainment Alliance presents the Jazz Cocktail Hour, a Thursday evening concert series, with singer Sara Michaels bringing an element of “Sassy Class” as she performs jazz standards in her own captivating style. You’ll hear influences of other great ladies of Jazz including Billie Holiday, Ertha Kitt, and Lena Horne. Jazz Cocktail Hour with Terry Klinefelter

Entertainment Alliance presents the Jazz Cocktail Hour, a Thursday evening concert series, with recording artist and West Chester University professor Terry Klinefelter; a versatile performer who is at home both in jazz clubs or the classical concert stage. She was described by the Philadelphia Inquirer as “on the cosmic cusp where Mozart might meet Mingus.” Her 2013 release, Zingaro, features original jazz compositions and standards, as well as several new songs based on the works of renowned poet Dana Gioia. The event will take place on Thursday, October 30, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Building.

A Vintage Garage Sale Continues Today

VintageGarageSalePosterThe Vintage Garage Sale Friday evening market will kick off at 4:0PM and close at 9:0PM tonight! The event provides shoppers time to peruse the vendors for vintage finds throughout the early evening with time to also walk the downtown shopping scene of First Friday and enjoy a delicious meal from any of West Chester’s premier restaurants.

Grammy-Award Winner David Sanchez Group will be performing tomorrow, February 11th at7:30 pm. The performance will be held at West Chester University, 700 S High St, West Chester, PA. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Sykes Student Union ticket window or by phone, Prices are as followed: Adults $20, Seniors/Students $15. The Group will be performing at West Chester University as part of the 22nd Annual Jazz Festival, Marc Jacoby directs the festival.
