Old-Fashioned Christmas Begins this Thursday!

West Chester celebrates Old-Fashioned Christmas with a four-day event! Friday’s festivities include the arrival of Santa in the Holiday Parade and the Community Tree lighting in front of the Courthouse on Friday.

The celebration features more than forty activities, to include Chester County Gilbert & Sullivan Society performances of the “Trial by Jury” in its new location at the Chester County Justice Center (New & Market), guided walking tours of the historic downtown area, and performances by a wide variety of musicians from gospel choirs to quartets.

OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS | December 1-4

West Chester celebrates Old-Fashioned Christmas with a four-day event! On the evening of December 2, the Tree Lighting occurs at 6:15pm with the Jingle Elf Run at 6:30pm. Christmas Parade begins at 7:15pm. The entire celebration features more than forty activities including guided walking tours of the historic downtown area and performances by a wide variety of musicians from gospel choirs to quartets.
