The Ghost Tours of West Chester is the popular walking tour with tales of ghosts, folklore and history. Your guide, dressed as a gentleman from the 1850’s, will lead you on a 90-minute walk through the spooky lanes of downtown neighborhoods where you will explore the place of the shadow people, learn of lost souls of the underground railroad, and stand where the gallows once stood and murderers were hanged. New stories of phantoms, apparitions and witches are added. This event is perfect for the entire family.

The Ghost Tours of West Chester start at The Lincoln Room, 28 West Market Street at Wilmont Mews. Tours are every Friday and Saturday night in late September and all of October. They begin at 8:00 pm and doors open at 7:00 pm rain or shine. Enjoy a casual dinner is the Courtyard. Ghost Tours of West Chester

The Ghost Tours of West Chester begin again this Friday, September 20, 2013. The popular walking tour includes tales of ghosts, folklore and history. Your guide, dressed as a gentleman from the 1850’s, will lead you on a 90-minute walk through the spooky lanes of downtown neighborhoods where you will explore the place of the shadow people, learn of lost souls of the underground railroad, and stand where the gallows once stood and murderers were hanged. The Ghost Tours of West Chester start at The Lincoln Room, 28 West Market Street at Wilmont Mews. It is located in one of West Chester’s most historic buildings, dating from 1833. The room retains its original molded tin ceiling and bead board walls. Abraham Lincoln had his first biography written there. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of a horse thief hanged across the street. . .

Halloween Tonight in West Chester

A special Ghost Tour of Through West Chester is happening tonight! The Ghost Tours of West Chester is a walking tour with tales of ghosts, folklore and history. Your guide will lead you on a 90-minute walk through the spooky lanes of downtown neighborhoods where you’ll explore the land of the shadow people, learn of lost souls of the Underground Railroad, and hear about the West Chester gallows where horse thieves and murderers were hanged. New stories and tours added for the season.

Due to the demand, special Ghost Tours of West Chester are offered Sunday & Monday nights and start at The Lincoln Room (28 West Market, 610-696-2102). Tours begin at 7:00 pm and doors open at 6:00 pm for these special dates.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Price is $10 per person ages 5 years and up. Reservations required; call 610-696-2102.
