2014 West Chester Chili Cook-Off

chili-cook-off-2014Once again the Rotary Club of West Chester is preparing for the Annual West Chester Chili Cook-Off! The 12th Annual event will take place Sunday, October 12th, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, Rain or Shine. The West Chester Chili Cook-Off Features a chili cook-off, games, decorating booth contest, live music & over 40 vendors. Last year, with the generosity of sponsors, the event was able to raise over $50,000 to support the good works of the Rotary Club of West Chester. The 35th Annual Chester County Restaurant Festival

New events include a pop up Farmers Market, live broadcast by QVC featuring In The Kitchen with David. All this with more than 65 restaurants, 110 arts & crafts vendors, 3 stage areas for live music, and the Church Street Café where patrons can sit and relax with a pint of refreshing brew. The event is free to attend and will be held on September 21st from Noon until 5:30PM. One Year Anniversary of The Market at Liberty Place

The Market at Liberty Place, located in Kennett Square, will be celebrating it’s first birthday in grand style, the weekend of July 11, 12, & 13. Festivities kick off on Friday July 11th, with 2 live musical acts. The Market will have a Frank Sinatra-style performer from 5:00-7:30 followed by Kennett Square’s own “Born Sisters” from 7:30-9:00. Kristen & Kara Zach are country/pop duo who write and perform their own songs.
