Winter in Chester County

Over the weekend I was able to shoot some photographs around the area; despite the below freezing temperatures. I had the film developed the other day and wanted to share some of the images. Even in the frigid terrible conditions Chester County is still looking as beautiful as ever this time of year.

Downtown West Chester | January 2013

KONY 2012 Campaign/Film

At this point I am sure many have seen or heard of The Kony 2012 campaign/film. The Youtube video targeting a Ugandan guerilla leader, has gone viral, amassing almost 33 million views and celebrity backers like Oprah, Ryan Seacrest and Rihanna.

“Invisible Children, a non-profit group, made the 29-minute video to further expose the practices of Ugandan guerilla leader Joseph Rao Kony, head of the Lord’s Resistance Army.”  The film and campaign by Invisible Children was made not to celebrate Joseph Rao Kony, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

As the popularity of the film/campaign is growing, I thought I would share the 29-minute video below incase you have not seen it yet. It is a very interesting story that I think everyone should be aware of… You can help by visiting: http://kony2012.com, Donate to Invisible Children at: https://stayclassy.org/checkout/set-donation?eid=14711.
