Glitter & Glow at First Friday

This months event will feature a special Glitter & Glow spectacle. Stroll through Downtown sidewalks where luminaries accentuate the shops with the magic of the season. Customers will find shelves stocked with giftware and seasonal fashions for everyone on your list. Metered parking throughout Downtown West Chester will be FREE during the event. 4th Annual Taste of Chester County

If you’ve ever wanted to taste your way through Chester County, now you can! Tickets are on sale for the 4th Annual Taste of Chester County, hosted by Safe Harbor, which will take place at Milestone Events on November 6 from 6:30–9 p.m. This yearly event brings together the best food and drinks that Chester County has to offer, all under one roof. Pumpkin Art Carve

pumpkincarveJoin the Chester County Art Associate for an evening of fun and creativity! The event will take place October 29th from 5:00-8:00PM. Family Fun Nite Pumpkin Art Carve has become an annual event, this year Chris McKinney, one of CCAA’s printmaking instructors, will give a demonstration. We will have a haunted house drawing contest, bag toss, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, face-painting, pumpkin painting and pumpkin carving. 2014 West Chester Chili Cook-Off

chili-cook-off-2014Once again the Rotary Club of West Chester is preparing for the Annual West Chester Chili Cook-Off! The 12th Annual event will take place Sunday, October 12th, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, Rain or Shine. The West Chester Chili Cook-Off Features a chili cook-off, games, decorating booth contest, live music & over 40 vendors. Last year, with the generosity of sponsors, the event was able to raise over $50,000 to support the good works of the Rotary Club of West Chester. Rotorfest at the American Helicopter Museum

rotorfest1The annual Rotorfest at the American Helicopter Museum in Chester County is an awesome outing for the entire family to enjoy. There are several helicopters on display, where you can meet filght crews, ride simulators and tour craft interiors. You will also enjoy additional amusement rides, food and other festival entertainment in addition to multiple, jaw-dropping air shows each day. First Annual Chester County Wingfest

Chester County WingfestMark your calendar for the First Annual Chester County Wingfest happening Sunday October 19, 2014. The contest will directly benefit the Family Service of Chester County, a nonprofit health and human services organization located in West Chester. Visit any of the 13 participating restaurants between 1:00PM–6:00PM on October 19th and place your vote for either “Best Buffalo Wings” or “Best Creative Style Wings.” A generous portion of each voter’s bill will be donated back to the Family Service of Chester County. Salute to the 97th Infantry

Senator Andy Dinniman invites the public to honor the historic Civil War 97th Infantry in a special ceremony in Marshall Square Park on Sunday, October 5, 2014. The 97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, a Civil War re-enactment group, will stage an encampment with a Civil War Drill Demonstration at 11:45am followed by a ceremony honoring the 97th Infantry. Learn about a day in the life of a Civil War soldier, learn about the heroic actions of two Medal of Honor recipients, and view historical memorabilia.
