There are almost a million people in the Delaware Valley who face hunger every day. Whether it be working families hit hard by the recession or women and children, seniors trying to make ends meet. The one thing they have in common is being part of a food system that desperately needs additional support. Within the Delaware Valley, Philabundance has experienced 26 percent more people coming to us for food compared to last year. Philabundance was created in 1984 with the simple belief that no man, woman or child should go hungry.
