BRIAN CONWAY, BILLY McCOMISKEY & BRENDAN DOLAN | March 8, 2013 | 7:30pm
Brian Conway, 1986 senior all-Ireland champion on fiddle; Billy McComiskey, winner of seven all-Ireland button accordion championships; and keyboardist Brendan Dolan will present an evening of traditional Irish music at the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre. Ticket information at the Department of Cultural & Community Affairs.

SONGWRITING CONTEST FINALISTS TO PERFORM | March 9
The five songwriters selected from a plythora of local talent perform for a chance at the $500 grand prize at The Note, 142 E Market Street. Doors open at 7:00pm. $5, 18 and over.

CHILDREN’S CONCERT by KENNETT SYMPHONY | March 10 | 2:00pm
Jack and the Beanstalk and other Orchestra Favorites are performed at the Annual Children’s Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo presented by the Kennett Symphony. Performance at Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, West Chester University. Tickets: $5. See details at KennettSymphony.org.

What’s Coming up in March?

March is right around the corner, do you know what that means? We’re that much closer to the warm weather Spring and Summer has to over! Also, this March Downtown West Chester has a ton of exciting events in store for everyone!

POPOVICH COMEDY PET THEATRE | March 15, 2013 | 7:30pm

The world famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre offers a family-oriented blend of the unique comedy and juggling skills of Gregory Popovich with the extraordinary talents of his performing pets. Each of the show’s 15 cats and 10 dogs were rescued from animal shelters, given loving care, and taught to show-off onstage. Performance at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall.
