Kimberley Vassal Insurance Services, located in Chadds Ford, produces some awesome beer review videos every couple weeks. Being that today is Friday, I wanted to share the most recent review incase anyone was looking to try out a new beer over the weekend! This time around, Bill Jeppe (KVIS Employee) reviews the brand new Dogfish Head “Test Batch” Sixty-One. Released on Feb 1, 2013, Sixty-One is a new brewpub exclusive based on the fan favorite 60 Minute IPA. “For this one we used the same hops as 60 Minute IPA, but doubled up on dry hopping and added a generous dose of Syrah grape must during fermentation.” For more information visit http://www.dogfish.com. Don’t forget all of the awesome events happening this weekend in Downtown West Chester; click here to check them out. Have a great weekend!
Whether you’re having a BBQ at home or heading down to the beach this weekend we suggest you check out this new beer review video! Both are beach themed beers and perfect to enjoy on Labor Day this year, The Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout from Flying Fish and Dogfish Head Positive Contact. The Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout is explained on there website as, “an “export style” stout brewed with oysters. The creamy flavor of English chocolate and roasted malts harmonizes with minerals from the oyster shells. Irish ale yeast adds a bit of fruitiness and a dry crispness.” While the Dogfish Head Positive Contact is an ale brewed with apple cider and spiced. A positive combination of Fuji cider, slow-roasted farro, a bit of cayenne and fresh cilantro. For more information check out the Beer Review below!
Bill Jeppe and I created a new beer review video specially for Valentine’s Day, however just because Valentine’s Day is over doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this amazing beer. So take a look and the review below and leave us some feedback!
Bill Jeppe is Kimberley Vassal Insurance’s official Beer Snob. This week he reviews The Sly Fox Christmas Ale, just in time for the holidays! This malty, full-bodied red ale is made with traditional mulling spices: Ginger, Clove, All Spice, Cinnamon & Nutmeg. If this one doesn’t get you into the Christmas spirit, you truly are a Scrooge.
