The Chester County Antiques Show Preview Party

On Friday, April 5, The Chester County Antiques Show Preview Party will kick off its 31st annual weekend of antiques appreciation. The show is being held at a new venue this year, The Phelps School. Located in Malvern, the fresh venue will provide a perfect setting for the architectural elements of antique furniture, which is the theme for 2013. The three-hour evening, which kicks off at 5 p.m., will serve as an opportunity for early viewing of the event’s beautiful items while you enjoy fine fare and meet the vendors, the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees and other supporters. The main discussion of tonight’s event will focus on Antiques 101: Ten Things Everyone Should Know About Antiques. Experience H.L. “Skip” Chalfant’s program Antiques 101, an introduction to the ten things everyone should know about real antiques in today’s virtual world.  Skip has been at the forefront of American decorative arts collecting and dealing for 40 years, and his business H.L. Chalfant American Fine Art and Antiques was 2011 Best of Main Line Winner for Early American Antiques. The Chester County Antiques Show | April 5th-7th

The Annual Chester County Antiques Show is coming up next month, April 5, 6 & 7, 2013. The event is presented by the Chester County Historical Society at the The Phelps School in Malvern, P.A. It will feature 18th and 19th Century American and Continental Antiques. Below is a schedule of the events that will be taking place.

  • Preview Party: Friday, April 5, 6:00pm-9:00pm | Cost $130
  • Show Hours: Saturday, April 6 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday, April 7 11:00am-5:00pm
  • Expert Verbal Appraisals: Sunday, April 7 11:00am-1:00pm

General Admission tickets are on sale now for $15.00 and include Show Catalog & Free Parking. The tickets also include free admission to the Chester County Historical Society for Friday and Saturday. 30th Annual Chester County Antiques Show
