The Chester County Historical Society in partnership with the National Iron and Steel Museum invite you to meet America’s first woman industrialist, Rebecca Lukens. In Q and A format, ask Rebecca Lukens about the challenge of being a woman in charge of the Brandywine Ironworks, forerunner to Coatesville’s Lukens Steel, and how she literally influenced the engines of progress.
