I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everybody else encountering problems with your website.

I have not encountered any problems on my end nor have I heard of anyone else having this problem. I am going to assume it has something to do with your web browser, maybe try and update it and see if the problem persists.

After I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me
when new comments are added- checkbox and now
each time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment.
Is there an easy method you are able to remove me from that service?
