Tree Planting Program for West Chester Residents

The Borough of West Chester has received funds from the estate of the Pillagalli Family to expand the already successful tree planting program within the Borough. This program will allow for one free street tree per household. To be eligible, property owners must ground out existing tree stumps and concrete sidewalks must have tree wells cut out and ready for planting.

Residents interested in receiving a free street tree should submit an application to the West Chester Borough Urban Forester, Denise Dunn-Kesterson. Applications can be obtained either at the Public Works Department or at West-Chester.com/tree.
