Greater Philadelphia’s breweries, bars and beer-sellers will be showing off during Philly Beer Week, a 10-day event celebrating “the best beer-drinking city in America.” Philly Beer Week, which was established in 2008 and “is the largest beer celebration of its kind in America,” according to its website, will run from May 31 though June 9. The event will span over 20 communities around the Delaware Valley and New Jersey, including Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
West Chester’s very own Boxcar Brewing Company will be part of the action. The local favorite Boxcar Brewing Company is holding an event to kick off the start of Philly Beer Week tomorrow, May 31, 2013! For more information click here or visit http://www.phillybeerweek.org.
