Juried by a panel of industry professionals, the winners are chosen according to content, innovation and technical execution. Films are presented in three downtown venues: West Chester Armory (226 N High St), Knights of Columbus (110 W Market St), and the Hotel Warner (120 N High St). Save your West Chester Film Festival ticket stub and use the coupon on the back for great deals at participating businesses and restaurants through May 10, 2013.
  • PAPER SCULPTOR at WEST CHESTER PUBLIC LIBRARY | April 27: Jodi Harvey-Brown, a Southeastern Pennsylvania paper sculptor, will be demonstrating her techniques for turning discarded books into works of art at the West Chester Public Library on Saturday, April 27th from 2-4pm as part of the library’s 125th Anniversary celebration. In December, she exhibited her work at the Art Trust Gallery at Meridian Bank in West Chester.  Her work will be on view at the library for the month of May. Recycled book art has become very popular on Pinterest and other websites.  Books have been transformed into mobiles, sculptures, bookshelves, lamps and lampshades, and purses.
