Join West Chester students, faculty, staff members and residents from surrounding local communities in a “Mile of Silence” walk to remember those affected by the tragedy in Boston. If you would like to participate in the event plan to meet in front of Wayne Hall on Rosedale Avenue at 7:30 on Tuesday evening, April 23. From this starting point, the mile-long walk will loop around North campus and end in front of the Sykes Student Union building. A candlelight vigil will be held after the walk, at which all are welcome to share thoughts regarding the incident. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite run/walk t-shirt or any Boston apparel you may have. For more information on the event visit the official event page on Facebook.
