The Friends of Everhart Park has been sponsoring an annual perennial plant the first Saturday in May for the over twenty years. This year it is Saturday May 4th, 2013 from 10AM to 2PM in Everhart Park at the basketball courts on the lower part of Union Street. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the restoration and maintenance of the park.
The sale offers a wide variety of plants lovingly grown in local gardens. Plants at the sale are proven winners and hardy to our climate and growing conditions. Many of these gardens are previous garden tour sites tended by experienced gardeners who want to share their special horticulture treasures. Often the gardeners are on hand to answer questions and provide tips and advice on the plants. For more information check out the full article over at www.westchester.patch.com or click here.
