If your familiar with Chester County, then I am sure you have heard the name Nancy Hannum before. Growing up in Unionville, Pennsylvania I had seen Mrs. Hannum around many of times and knew her best from the local fox hunts, as well as her countless efforts to preserve Chester County. Unfortunately, I think many people know little about the life long efforts of Nancy Hannum but that is soon to change. Next week, November 14th, at the Chester County Historical Society there will be a film documenting Nancy Hannum’s life that is sure to be extraordinary. Below is a short description of the film, hope to see you there! Wednesday, November 14th 5:00pm and 7:00pm. For further information on the event click here.
Christianna Hannum Miller spent 10 years making a short (35-minute) film about her grandmother, Nancy Penn Smith Hannum of Unionville, who was master of Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds for more than half a century, and an avid conservationist. Music by Alison Krause. Christi will be there to answer questions.
