Smoothers Roads in Chester County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said announced that construction is scheduled next week to repair worn concrete pavement on four highways in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties. PennDOT is investing $6 million to repair deteriorating concrete on 18 state highways in the Philadelphia region. Crews are repairing and improving 63 miles of roadway by sealing concrete pavement joints and cracks, and patching. Last week PennDOT took action in West Chester between Matlack and Worthington streets in order to repair concrete pavement and the results were successful. Finally we will have less bumps and holes and we will be able to enjoy a smoother ride across the area.
