West Chester area residents are invited to “jump right in” on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Chester Ridley Crum Watershed Association’s annual cleanup of Goose Creek. Bring a friend (or two) to be part of a great community effort for a cleaner Goose Creek.
West Chester Borough portion of Goose Creek cleanup meets inside West Chester Public Works Garage, 205 Lacey Street, West Chester. Volunteers are requested to arrive by 8:45 am, receive a team assignment, and enjoy complimentary beverages and bagels. Choose between kid-friendly, moderate, and challenging choices. Contact site coordinator Courtney Finneran to volunteer or to lead a section. Attire is roll up pants and old shoes or knee boots. Bring hip waders or chest waders if you have them.
