Nudy’s Cafe is planning to open a new location on Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. A spokeswoman for the Paoli Village Shoppes tells Patch the popular Devon-based restaurant chain has signed a lease to move into the building that most-recently housed Jake’s Frozen Custard. A Nudy’s spokeswoman told Patch on Thursday that while the chain is planning to expand to the location no lease had been signed yet and there is no timeline in place. Nudy’s currently has seven restaurant locations in Devon, Frazer, Phoenixville, Exton, Downingtown, Eagleview and right here in downtown West Chester.
Nudy’s Café of West Chester is located at the southwest corner of West Market and South New streets, occupying the space that was once Gee’s Pizza and Beer Carry-Out. Nudy’s in West Chester offers 65 seats in 2,400 square feet, including outdoor seating on a new patio. Nudy’s characterizes their menu as the “feel-good dishes you’re used to, but with a twist.” His restaurants serve Melba French toast, for instance, sauced with fresh cherries and stuffed with cream cheese, pumpkin pancakes and a range of salads and sandwiches at lunchtime.
