Why Go: Chester County Historical Society opens its library each Saturday to help you learn more about your family’s history in Chester County.

Dress for a Good Cause

Where/When: Westtown School 975 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA 19382 (Lower School Gathering Room – look for the signs), Saturday, March 24 from 1-3 p.m.
Why Go: Rock-bottom ale of gently worn dresses, jewelry and accessories. All proceeds benefit projects for survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery locally and internationally.

“The Wiz of the West”

Where/When: West Chester University 700 S High St, West Chester, PA 19383 (Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall), Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Missoula Children’s Theatre presents the original musical adaptation of “The Wiz of the West”, with local children as the stars.  Tickets are available online, by phone or at the Sykes Student Union ticket window.
Pricing: $20

Chess for Kids

Where/When: West Chester Public Library 415 N Church St, West Chester, PA 19380
Why Go: Kids ages 6-18 years old are invited to the West Chester Public Library to learn to play chess or work on their game.
Pricing: Free
