Under the direction of George Whittam, Big G and the Cool Cats is performing at the Chester County Historical Society (225 N High Street) starting at 7:00 pm. It’s a big horn band featuring three saxes, two trombones, and two trumpets. The rhythm section includes guitar, bass, drums, and keys. Our featured vocalists, Barbara Kovacs and Andrew Coffin, perform all over the Delaware Valley. You’ll hear the sounds of the ’60s and ’70s made famous by bands such as CHICAGO, BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, as well as the fabulous sounds of Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Ottis Redding, Tina Turner, Van Morrison and more! Admission: $8.00 for members, $10.00 for non-members. Tickets are on sale at the Chester County Historical Society and Taylor’s Music Store.
