The West Chester Parks & Recreation presents the largest downtown street fair of the year — Chester County Restaurant Festival. It promises a taste of every kind from the best restaurants in the Brandywine Valley. The festival is from noon ’til 5:30 on Gay Street between Matlack & Darlington. Seven bands will play throughout the day and the Beer & Wine Garden is open at Gay & Church Sts. The Chester County Culinary Cook-off begins at 2:30 on the steps of the historic Courthouse where chefs compete for the title of Best Chef in Chester County.
